Job Description:
We are seeking a Networking & Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable operations. This role involves maintaining both network and system components, optimizing performance, and supporting hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments while ensuring compliance with security and business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches).
- Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshooting latency, connectivity, and security issues.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network and system protection policies.
- Deploy, administer, and maintain servers, storage, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Support system integration, application deployment, and infrastructure scalability across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Manage backup, storage, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, system architecture, and configurations.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Skills & Tools:
- Networking: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN.
- Systems & Virtualization: Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS storage.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, Zabbix.
- Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Bash.
