IT Support & Systems Administrator

Job Description:
We are looking for an IT Support & Systems Administrator to provide end-user support, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure the availability, security, and performance of systems and applications. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, administering servers and networks, and collaborating with teams to deliver reliable IT services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level and advanced technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, or ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory, Office 365).
  • Administer and maintain servers (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Monitor system performance, apply patches, and implement security best practices.
  • Support software deployment, patch management, and VPN/remote access.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
  • Implement and test backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

Skills & Tools:

  • Operating Systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux.
  • Infrastructure & Admin: Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Office 365.
  • Networking & Security: VPN, Basic Networking, Access Controls.
  • Scripting & Automation: Bash, PowerShell.
  • Support Tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Remote Desktop Tools, Monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds).
  • Practices: ITIL, Incident & Problem Management.
